Case Study: Walking Down the Memory Lane
‘Rome wasn’t built in a day’
~ This adage is symbolic of the journey that founders of our company- ExpandX took to build an ERP system. Today’s blog is dedicated to one of the first clients- breathing a legacy of 50+ years with an established position in the encoders and switch manufacturing business. What started off as a conversation turned into a whole new business venture by the end of 2019.
Our client had been using Enterprise Resource Planning for several years however none of it was working out for the business. As all companies and professionals preached the need for automation in business processes none of the ERP companies seem to help businesses seamlessly integrate their systems. Indian companies sensed the need for ERP but the lack of and delayed responses to service support put our client and many more companies in a difficult position to stay ahead of the curve.
ExpandX recognising this problem, took this challenge up. They built an ERP system that would be a use case and made workflows applicable for all manufacturers. ExpandX became partners with the company, thoroughly understood their business and helped the company utilise their data systems well. ERP consultation provided by ExpandX from time to time educates required personnel in the organization and make the best use of this system. With time, this collaboration has run deeper to move towards Industry 4.0 automation. For example, quality controls in manufacturing are being enhanced by choosing parameters and obtaining data analysis to provide greater insights on business products. All these efforts are making our client future ready.
The journey taken back then with our first clients has now blossomed and continues to bloom in full as the years go by.
